How much does a personal driver cost per day in Chisinau?+
We offer two options. On your car: Standard 2,000 MDL/day (8h), Business 2,800 MDL (10h), VIP 4,000 MDL (12h). On our cars (all-inclusive + 200 km): Standard 3,500 MDL, Business 5,500 MDL (Audi A6 2022 / Lexus NX300h), VIP Executive 8,500 MDL (Mercedes E / BMW 5). Payment at end of day, no deposit.
What is the difference between the two personal driver options?+
Option B: only the driver arrives — ideal if you have a car you love. Option A: our premium car arrives together with the driver, all-inclusive (200 km, refreshments, water) — ideal when you want the status of our premium vehicles.
Who are PlusRent drivers?+
Our drivers are verified professionals with at least 5 years of experience, in uniform (suit for Business and VIP), multilingual (EN/RO/RU), discreet and punctual. All have valid driving licenses, clean criminal records, and professional insurance.
Can I get the same driver for every booking?+
Yes. The same-driver option is available for recurring contracts. The driver will learn your routes and preferences. For Corporate and VIP packages — same driver included by default.
Is there a minimum booking duration?+
Minimum 4 hours — 1,200 MDL for short bookings. Standard packages are 8h, 10h, and 12h. For monthly or corporate contracts — no minimum, custom pricing.
Are there discounts for longer contracts?+
Yes:
- 5+ days: 10% discount
- 10+ days: 15% discount
- Monthly contract: 20% discount
- Corporate subscription: up to 20% discount + priority booking, account manager, monthly invoicing
How is payment made?+
Individual bookings — payment at end of day, cash (MDL or EUR) or bank card. Monthly and corporate — monthly invoicing. No deposit for individual customers.
Is a 24/7 on-demand driver available?+
Yes. The VIP on-demand package (24/7 availability). A special solution for directors, dignitaries, and expats with irregular schedules. Premium rate, maximum flexibility. Call: +373 60 000 500.
What languages do drivers speak?+
All drivers speak Romanian and Russian. English is available on request — mention this when booking. For Business and VIP packages, multilingual service is included by default.
Which cars are available for Option A?+
Standard: Toyota Auris 2014 or Audi A4 2017. Business: Audi A6 2022 or Lexus NX300h. VIP Executive: Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Lexus NX300h, or Audi A6. All vehicles feature air conditioning, Wi-Fi, leather seats, and undergo daily inspection.
Can I use a driver for a wedding or event with alcohol?+
Yes. A personal driver is the ideal solution for weddings, corporate events, and banquets. You preserve your status, avoid driving after drinking, and the driver takes you home at the end of the evening. The VIP package (12h or on-demand) is recommended for such events.
Does insurance cover damage to my car (Option B)?+
Yes. All PlusRent drivers carry professional driver liability insurance, which covers damage caused by the driver's fault during service. Your CASCO remains your primary coverage.
Can I cross the border with the driver? Is Transnistria included?+
Yes, border crossings are included in the rate for all packages. Popular destinations: Transnistria (Tiraspol, Bender) — driver knows customs procedures and assists with the migration card; Iași, Romania (~150 km, 3h); Odesa, Ukraine (~190 km, 3.5h). Only a valid passport required. No additional fees — all included in Standard/Business/VIP packages within 200 km/day.
