How much does a personal driver cost per day in Chisinau?
There is one price and no tiers. With our car (comfort-class car, fuel, insurance and 200 km included): €175 for 8 hours and €22 for every extra hour, so €219 for 10 hours and €263 for 12. On your car (driver only): €120 for 8 hours and €15 for every extra hour. A Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series: +€100 a day. You pay at the end of the day, with no prepayment.
What is the difference between the two personal driver options?
Option A: our car arrives together with the driver, all-inclusive (200 km, refreshments, water), ideal when you want the status of our premium vehicles. Option B: only the driver arrives and drives your own car, ideal if you have a car you love.
Who are PlusRent drivers?
Our drivers are PlusRent employees with at least 5 years of experience, in business attire, multilingual (EN/RO/RU), discreet and punctual. All hold a valid licence, a clean record and professional insurance.
Can I get the same driver for every booking?
Yes. For regular bookings and corporate contracts we assign the same driver, who learns your routes and preferences. Tell us when you book.
Is there a minimum booking duration?
The minimum booking is 8 hours: €175 with our car or €120 on yours. After that you add hours one at a time, up to 12 a day: €22 an hour with our car, €15 on yours. Are there discounts for longer contracts?
Yes:

How is payment made?
Individual bookings, payment at end of day, cash (MDL or EUR) or bank card. Monthly and corporate, monthly invoicing. No deposit for individual customers.
Is a 24/7 on-demand driver available?
Yes. The dispatcher answers 24/7 and a driver can be booked for any time of day, weekends and holidays included. A driver is usually ready in under 24 hours from your request. Call +373 60 000 500.
What languages do drivers speak?
All drivers speak Romanian, Russian and English.
Which cars are available for Option A?
The price includes a comfort-class car: most often an Audi A6 2022, otherwise a Lexus NX300h or an Audi A4 2017; the dispatcher confirms the exact car. A Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series can be chosen for +€100 a day. All cars have air conditioning, Wi-Fi and leather seats and are checked daily.
Can I use a driver for a wedding or event with alcohol?
Yes. A personal driver is the right choice for weddings, corporate parties and banquets. You keep your standing, you do not drive after drinking, and the driver takes you home at the end of the night. For such events it is convenient to book 10-12 hours: €219-263 with our car or €150-180 on yours. If the party runs late, every extra hour is €22 or €15.
Does insurance cover damage to my car (Option B)?
Yes. All PlusRent drivers carry professional driver liability insurance, which covers damage caused by the driver's fault during service. Your CASCO remains your primary coverage.
Can I cross the border with the driver? Is Transnistria included?
Yes, on every booking. Popular destinations: Transnistria, the whole region (Tiraspol, Bender, Rîbnița, Dubăsari and beyond), the driver knows the checkpoint procedure and assists with the migration card; Iași and further into Romania (~130 km to Iași, 3-3.5h). Only a valid passport required. Crossing into Transnistria or Romania adds 25€ (145€ on your car, 200€ on ours for 8 hours). We do not drive to Ukraine at the moment. Every package includes 200 km per day, and each kilometre above that is charged at the site rate of 5 MDL/km (Chisinau to Iasi and back is about 260 km, so about 60 km extra, 300 MDL).

Is a personal driver the same as a chauffeur or a private driver?
Yes. A personal driver, a private driver, a private chauffeur, a chauffeur service and a car with a driver are the same PlusRent service: a professional driver booked by the day, from 8 hours. You choose our car with a chauffeur, €175 for 8 hours, or a driver for your own car, €120 for 8 hours.
How do I get from Chisinau to Tiraspol with a private driver?
Book the 8 hour package with the Transnistria crossing: 145€ on your car or 200€ on ours. Tiraspol is about 70 km from Chisinau, roughly 1 hour 15 minutes of driving plus 10 to 30 minutes at the checkpoint, where you fill in a free entry slip with your passport or ID card. The driver waits for you and brings you back the same day, and can also take you to Bender, Rîbnița, Dubăsari or anywhere else in the region.
Can I book a Cricova winery tour with a private driver?
Yes. Cricova, Milestii Mici and Castel Mimi all fit into one day on the 8 hour package: 175€ on our car or 120€ on yours. Tastings are booked directly with the wineries and paid separately. Add a guide who speaks English, Russian and Romanian for 90€ if you want the day explained.

Yes. A PlusRent driver picks you up in Chisinau and drives you around Moldova for the day: Orheiul Vechi, the Căpriana and Țipova monasteries, the wineries. The 8 hour package costs 175€ on our car (200 km included) or 120€ on yours, and each extra kilometre costs 5 MDL. An optional guide (EN/RU/RO) costs 90€ for 8 hours.
How much does an extra hour with the driver cost?
An extra hour costs €22 with our car (about 437 MDL) and €15 on your car (about 300 MDL). The price is the same whether you book the hour in advance or run late on the day: 10 hours with our car cost €219 and 12 hours cost €263. You pay only for the hours you used.
What happens if my plans change or I need to cancel?
